Job Responsibilities

Manage Accounts Payable and process payroll, vendor and employee expenses

Manage customer billing/Accounts Receivable and coordinate credit checks, collections, and lien activities (where necessary)
Must be able to manage multiple non-integrated systems

Prepare budgets and financial forecasts and track/analyze/report actual financial performance.

Manage the company books, month-end closes and reconciliation. Establish, manage and maintain conformance to GAAP accounting principles.

Track and forecast cash flow on a daily/weekly basis. Work with the remainder of management to ensure healthy cash position at all times.
Manage external financial relationships (banks, trade credit, lessors, factors, collections agents)

Manage external financial reporting and ensure compliance with all tax and other filing requirements
Qualified candidates will have:

A Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university

A minimum of 5 years experience in financial management

Experience in a manufacturing company

Proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills

Strong analytical and negotiating skills

Detail orientation and strong organization skills

- Location: South Austin
- Compensation: Hourly contract rate based on experience. This is a temporary position that may or may not become permanent. This is a 40 hour week position.
